Wintersett 03.05.18

7 - 14 degrees with 6/8 high cloud and sunny spells, but a cold south westerly wind.
Anglers CP:  2 Red Kites were circling together, high over north east of CP, at 09.15hrs   Swift 70.  Common Sandpiper 1.  Oystercatcher 4 + 2 WRes..  An  Osprey flew over high south at 16.25hrs- first for the year list, per Chris Swaine.
Disposal Point:  A Yellow Wagtail flew north.   1 Lesser Whitethroat and at least 7 pairs of Yellowhammers.
Wintersett Res: A Willow Tit 1 and  5 m Sedge Warblers west bank.   11 very small Mallard ducklings were in the south west corner. 
Cold Hiendley Res: Common Tern 3.
Lepidoptera: The first Red Admiral of the year was on the east bank WRes..
