Carlton Marsh

As the afternoon brightened up, hirundines were on the move. At least 20 Swallow, 15 House Martin and 3 Sand Martin headed north. New in today Common Sandpiper with 2 LRP, 2 Redshank, 2 Lapwing and Little Egret. Also present on the marsh Kingfisher, 3 pairs of Tufted Duck, Willow Tit calling and Coal Tit singing.

A Fox was hunting around the scrape caching small prey.
