A Red Kite drifted north at 08.00hrs (Rod Heeley) Also present a pair of Goosander, Treecreeper and 2 Grey Wagtails. Butterflies included 12 Small Tortoiseshell and 6 Comma. (Chris Parkin)

Busy this morning scrub bashing so didn't see much. 2 Redshanks were on the wader scrape with a few Lapwings and Teal. 30 Yellow Buntings were in a nearby field and our resident Buzzards were milling around. 3 Water Rails were heard or seen. (KB/CG)
