Moorhouse/ BackLane: John and Matthew Armitage paid a visit to the Firecrest site and got excellent views of the bird. It was very mobile but present about 30m along the top of the old railway embankment path before you dip down to the "crossroads" of four paths. It was with Long-tailed Tits, Blue Tits and a Goldcrest.
Anglers CP: 60 Pink-footed Geese flew over west at 10.35hrs. Goldeneye 68 + 32 WRes..
Also a single Siskin, a Stock Dove and several Curlew (5 ? ) in fields to north calling and in flight per John and Matthew Armitage.WRes. Gull Roost Notables : A 1stW Yellow-legged Gull and 2 Mediterranean Gulls an adult + a 1stW were seen tonight per GJS
