Newmillerdam - 12 February 2017

Light sleet and rain all morning. Miserable day of poor light. A buzzard was in the woods at the southern end of the lake, and a flock of c50 siskin with a few goldfinch were by Lawns Dike. Light was terrible and whilst I looked, I couldn't see anything else in the flock.

Black-headed gull (61), buzzard (1), Canada goose (14), coot (35), goldflinch (28), goosander (6 -2m/4f), great crested grebe (1), great spotted woodpecker (1), lesser black-backed gull (1), little grebe (2), mallard (205), moorhen (8), mute swan (6), pochard (1), siskin (50), tufted duck (16), whooper swan (1).
