Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2 Mute Swan, 26 Wigeon, 20 Teal, 19 Shoveler, 15 Tufted Duck, 11 Mallard, 7 Gadwall, 1 Pochard, 7 Cormorant, 2 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 20 Moorhen, 1 Coot, 43 Lapwing, 3 Snipe, c200 Redwing and c50 Fieldfare.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2 Mute Swan, 17 Tufted Duck, 12 Goosander, 9 Mallard, 4 Gadwall, 2m+1f Goldeneye, 2 Pochard, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Grebe, 167 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 42 BH Gull and 27 Common Gull. Also present were 2 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel and 1 Green Woodpecker.
