Wintersett 21.03.16

4 - 8 degrees,  mostly cloudy with a light westerly this morning.
Wintersett Res:  A RED KITE drifted south over Pits Wood at 10.50hrs.  No sign of the Firecrest this morning.   Cetti's Warbler 3 singing males, Chiffchaff 2 singing males + 1 ACP,  Sand Martin 3,  Nuthatch 1 (Willow wood),  Redwing 1,  Kingfisher 2, Water Rail 4,  Teal 2 and Siskin 1 over.
Anglers CP:  Common Scoter 1m + 1f,  Yellow-legged Gull 1 2ndW  at 11.00hrs,  Curlew 1,  Shoveler 12 + 5 WRes.
Mammals:  A Mink was on the path by the boathouse reeds.  A Weasel was seen ACP.
