Wintersett Gull Roosts 13.01.16

4 degrees,  cool but sunny with a light southerly.
Anglers CP: A Dunlin flew west at 14.25hrs.
Anglers CP Gull Roost was brilliant this afternoon, with big numbers of large gulls arriving steadily throughout, allowing time for effective scanning.  First in was the usual 4th W Caspian Gull at 15.40hrs.  Next find was the juvenile Kumlien's Gull at 16.05hrs.  The dark-headed juvenile Glaucous Gull was in at 16.30hrs,  followed by the 2nd W Caspian at 16,35hrs.
Wintersett  Res.Roost was watched by Kev Denny who reported poor numbers of big gulls with no notables.
