0-3 degrees, very cold, frosty and sunny start but clouded over by 10.00 with a light south westerly.
Wintersett Res: New in today were: Shoveler 2 and Teal 1 + 2 ACP.
Anglers CP: Little Grebe 5 + 4 WRes, Water Rail 1, Wigeon 237. Keith Bannister saw a Peregrine fly SE. The Barn Owl showed at 15.40hrs.
Gull Roosts: The 1st W Caspian Gull was on ACP at 15.55hrs. A gas gun firing in the back fields made the birds skittish and no further notables were seen here.
Kev Denny on Wintersett Res had the dark-headed, juvenile Glaucous Gull at 16.20hrs, closely followed by an adult Yellow-legged Gull, topped off with a juvenile Iceland Gull at 16.30hrs.
