A lack of Swallows
Most years there are good numbers of Swallows in Broomhill park, along the Bulling Dyke, over the tall trees on Old Pontefract Road and on the telephone wires in Broomhill village. Today I only saw 3 Swallows ( a consistent number over the past few weeks ) walking on and off Wombwell Ings. Is this lack of Swallows a local issue or is it a Barnsley area problem?
