Wombwell Ings - Through the incessant rain I was able to record 2 Mute Swan, 1 Canada Goose, 3 Shelduck, 13 Mallard, 11 Gadwall, 10 Tufted Duck, 3 Shoveler, 2 Wigeon, 1 Pochard, 2 Cormorant, 18 Coot, 3 Moorhen + 1chick, 6 Lapwing, 3 Redshank, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Avocet, 13 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 1 Meadow Pipit, 3 Pied Wagtail, 1 Yellow Wagtail and 4 Skylark.
Broomhill Flash-Noted were 2 Mute Swan, 21 Canada Geese, 14 Greylag, 3 Shelduck, 22 Tufted Duck, 14 Mallard, 6 Gadwall,5m + 1f + 2y Pochard,2 Red Legged Partridge, 4 Little Grebe, 14 Coot, 1 Redshank and 1 Kestrel.
Brickyard Pond -By the time the rain cleared there wasn't enough time to go 'Bolton Wandering' and a stroll around the Brickworks and Tip was decided upon. The Bickworks Pond revealed 1 Mute Swan, 1 brooding Canada Goose, 5 Tufted Duck, 1 Mallard, 1 buff domestic duck ( Orpington? ) and 2 Coot.
