Carlton Marsh

The highlights today were 2 Grey Wagtails, 2 Oystercatchers, Redshank and a Ringed Plover north just after 3pm. (Jim Plant)

A ringing session provided a male Pied Wagtail, the first for 26 years!

Damselflies included 2 Large Red, 10 Azure Blue and 2 Common. A Four Spot chaser was airborne along with 3 Common Blue and 2 Dingy Skipper butterflies.

Rabbit Ings
Several Sand Martins were seen with other hirundines and 3 Small Heath and 3 Common Blue were enjoying the warmth of the sun. (Ray Dye)
