Wombwell Ings mid AM-April Fools Day seemed an appropriate date for Shooters to make an appearance on the back field. Present were 8 Mute Swan, 68 Canada Geese, 7 Greylag, 2 Shelduck, 74 Wigeon, 13 Tufted Duck, 5 Mallard, 5 Shoveler, 4 Gadwall,4 Teal, 1f Goosander, 1 Grey Heron, 10 Coot, 3 Moorhen. 12 Lapwing, 3 Oystercatcher, 1 Kestrel, 21 BH Gull, 6 Skylark and 4 Reed Bunting .
Broomhill Flash late AM- The Week-a- Wednesday Team had a single Swallow through about 9.40am. Also noted were 1 Mute Swan, 21 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 12 Tufted Duck, 8 Pochard, 3 Mallard, 2 Gadwall, 1 Teal, 2 Red Legged Partridge, 8 Little Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 12 Coot, 5 Moorhen, 8 Lapwing, 2 Oystercatcher, 219 BH Gull, 3 LBB Gull and 1 Kestrel.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM-On the open water were 3 Mute Swan, 8 Greylag, 6 Canada Geese, 13 Tufted Duck, 8 Mallard, 5 Pochard, 4 Gadwall, 2 Teal, 2f Goldeneye, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 36 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 227 BH Gull, 3 LBB Gull, 1 Herring Gull and 1 Common Gull. Also present were 1 Kestrel, 1 yaffling Green Woodpecker and 5 Chiffchaff.
