Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 4 Mute Swan, 52 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck, 178+ Wigeon, 12 Gadwall, 9 Tufed Duck, 8 Shoveler, 7 Teal, 6 Mallard, 4 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Great Crested Grebe( on Bulling Dyke), 10 Coot, 5 Moorhen, 32 Lapwing, 16 Golden Plover, 1 Kestrel, 121 BH Gull, 7 Common Gull, 3 Skylark, 2 Redwing and 1 Song Thrush.
Broomhill Flash late AM- Noted were 4 Mute Swan, 23 Canada Geese, 3 Greylag, 12 Tufted Duck, 11 Mallard, 2 Gadwall, 2 Cormorant, 2 Little Grebe, 25 Coot, 3 Moorhen, 23 Lapwing, 1 Oystercatcher, 175+ BH Gull and 2 Common Gull. A pair of Tree Sparrows were showing a great deal of interest in one of the car park nest boxes.
Bolton Ings early PM- On the open water were 3 Mute Swan, 6 Greylag, 1 Pink Footed Goose, 1 Canada Goose, 15 Tufted Duck, 11 Pochard, 7 Mallard, 4 Shoveler, 3 Teal, 3 Gadwall, 1m+1f Goldeneye, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 4 Little Grebe, 45 Coot, 3 Moorhen, 257+ BH Gull, 26 Common Gull, 2 LBB Gull and 1 Herring Gull. Also present were 1 Buzzard and 1 Kestrel.
