Roost in Willows on Willow Pool - Grey Heron 5, Cormorant 14, Little Egret 15, Great White Egret 1.

The Great White Egret was already in the Willows when I arrived but eventually walked out onto the Willow Pool, then onto the Main Marsh and finally flew to the Wader Scrape. It went to roost at 21.02 after a few failed attempts.

The Little Egrets came in as follows - 1 at 19.24, 1 at 19.27, 3 at 20.13, 1 at 20.46, 1 at 20.54, 2 at 21.02, 3 at 21.05, 2 at 21.15 and finally 1 at 21.22. All the Egrets tonight were either on Old Moor when I arrived or came from down the valley. Today there were 17 Little Egrets at Adwick, therefore not all of them are roosting at Old Moor, volunteers required to find other roost sites. Don't all rush at once.
