Old moor Nocturnal Report - Monday 18th August

Mere - Green Sandpiper 4, Common Sandpiper 2, Dunlin 2, Ringed Plover 1, Little Ringed Plover 3.

Main Marsh - Barnacle Goose 1, Wigeon 1, Lapwing 900+, Black Tailed Godwit 2, Greenshank 1, Green Sandpiper 4, Snipe 5,  LBB Gull 13, Common Gull 1, Peregrine 1, Hobby 1.

Roost in willows on Willow Pool - Grey Heron 3, Cormorant 20, Little Egret 25.

The Little Egrets came in as follows - 1 at 19.55, 1 at 20.06, 1 at 20.08, 1 at 20.17, 1 at 20.19, 5 at 20.26, 4 at 20.28, 2 at 20.31, 2 at 20.32, 1 at 20.34, 1 at 20.41, 2 at 20.44, 2 at 20.45 and finally 1 at 20.56. Tonight 9 came in from up the valley and 16 from down the valley.
