Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 9 Little Egret, 2 Grey Heron, 5 Mute Swan, 29 Greylag, 14 Canada Geese, 34 Mallard, 8 Gadwall, 1 Garganey, 43 Lapwing, 3 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Ringed Plover, 1 Common Sandpiper, 48 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 2 Grey Partridge, 3 Kingfisher, 1 Green Woodpecker, 2 Skylark, 1 Grey Wagtail and 1 Yellow Wagtail.
Broomhill Flash late AM- Noted were 1 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 30+ Little Grebe, 1 Black Necked Grebe, 1 Mute Swan +2 cygnets, 26 Canada Geese, 4 Greylag, 55 Gadwall, 22a+5y Tufted Duck, 13 Mallard, 4 Shoveler, 2 Pochard, 6 Little Ringed Plover, 4 Snipe, 1 Green Sandpiper and 1 LBB Gull.
Bolton Ings early PM- Highlight was the cream crowned Marsh Harrier. On the open water were 9 Little Grebe, 2a+1y Great Crested Grebe, 2 Mute Swan +8 cygnets, 103 Gadwall, 18 Pochard, 7a+2y Tufted Duck, 5 Mallard, 2 Shoveler, 1 Wigeon, and 31 BH Gull. Also present were 2 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 16 Canada Geese, 5 Greylag, 2 Kestrel, 1 Buzzard, 3 LBB Gull, 1 Dunlin,1 Green Woodpecker and 1 singing Blackcap.
