Edderthorpe, Tuesday

The Wood Sandpiper is still present, up to 16.30 at least. It feeds on the bank opposite the seat (by the river) but 'disappears' in the grass for prolonged spells so patience may be required to see it. Green Sandpiper 2 (Houghton), Common Sandpiper 3, Ringed Plover 10, LRP 2, Dunlin 2 including the first juvenile, Common Snipe 18, Little Egret 4, Little Grebe 17.
