Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 2 Grey Heron, 3 Mute Swan, 3a+6y Shelduck, 41 Gadwall, 22 Mallard, 12 Tufted Duck, 2 Shoveler, 32 Lapwing, 4 Redshank, 2 LBB Gull, 7 Skylark, 3 Reed Bunting and 2 Kingfisher.
Broomhill Flash late AM- Noted were 3 Little Grebe, 1 Black Necked Grebe, 2 Mute Swan + 4 cygnets, 21a+6y Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 11a+9y Tufted Duck, 3a+1y Pochard, 1 Mallard and 1 Oystercatcher.
TPT-Singing males 3 Chiffchaff, 2 Willow Warbler, 2 Whitethroat and 2 Blackcap.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM- Highlight was a Hobby slowly drifting east at 11.48am. On the open water were 4 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Mute Swan+ 8 cygnets, 39a+3y Tufted Duck, 9 Gadwall and 6 Pochard. Also present were 12 Greylag, 11 Canada Geese, 3 Lapwing, 1 Common Tern and 1 Sedge Warbler.
