Carlton Marsh

This afternoon Buzzard, Little Owl, and Water Rail calling. A pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers were successful, the young fledged earlier in the week. The 7 Sedge Warblers I counted a couple of weeks ago have all moved on, so yet again it would appear that we don't have any breeding  pairs.

Tree Bee is common now and the first Emerald Damselflies are just emerging.

Cudworth Common (Les Corrall)
Cuckoo 2 singing males (1 accompanied by a calling female) Redshank 2 with 1 chick.
Bee Orchid is in flower here.

Symphony Warehouse
3 Redshanks, 6 Ringed Plover + 5 chicks
