Bird & wildlife sightings from the Barnsley recording area.
At 4pm the Egyptian Goose, which was barely visible lying in the long grass at Houghton, was spooked by 2 herons and got up, circled round and flew off over Edderthorpe. I couldn't relocate the bird on Edderthorpe.
