Paid another visit onto the Reedbeds at Old Moor this evening, weather better than last night and more Bittern excitement as 2 males were booming tonight, also 1 male seen. A Barn Owl was hunting, a Water Rail calling and a Peregrine was chasing the Black Headed Gulls. 4 Goosander flew towards the Wader Scrape and a Chiffchaff was singing near to the visitor centre.
Other birds seen today at Old Moor included both the Mediterranean Gulls and a Curlew.
