Yellowhammers ....beat that!!
Forgot to send this in but yesterday I had 95 Yellowhammer in a feeding flock on a stubble field (rare habitat now-days) off Silkstone Wagon Road. I did 3 counts to try to get over100 but had to stick to a 95 max. I see Cliff had 40 at Carlton so it would be interesting if there are other large groups in the Barnsley area. Any info?

Although I did'nt count them there was quite a number at Rabbit Ings Monday and Tuesday........... :-)
PS 35 reported at Adwick on here last week............... :-)
There were 95 in a shooting crop at Falthwaite (not too far from your flock) around New Years Day.
