Worsbrough Mill 12th & 13th Jan

12th - Willow Tit, there are usually at least three or four singing males around the country park in summer so I would assume some breeding pairs here, Goldcrest, Nuthatch, Treecreeper, flock of around 30 Siskin, Sparrowhawk, Great Crested Grebe, Little Grebe, Pochard, Kingfisher, approx 200 Black Headed Gulls, 6 Common Gulls, 3 Herring Gulls.

13th - Treecreeper, G.S Woodpecker, Redwing, Kestrel, Great Crested Grebe, Little Grebe, Goosander, Kingfishers were showing really well all around the reservoir with one on the stream and two between the bird hide and the overspill, 1 Green Sandpiper and 56 Lapwings were on the exposed mud. By four p.m the reservoir was completely devoid of gulls, but Black Headed and Common were present before then.
