This morning Dave Smith and I saw 3 female Crossbills alight in some nearby trees at 11.05hrs, but we couldn't relocate them. (A new species here for me!) Also of note were: Water Rail, Little Owl, Siskin 1 south, 40 Skylarks, and a Wigeon was new in today.
