Midhope

Just missed a flock of c30 Crossbills which had been spooked by a Sparrowhawk out of the clearing at Broomhead just before I got there. Usual stuff around the feeders. A couple of hours at Midhope kicked off with a single Raven followed by a juv Marsh Harrier south over the res' and along Barnside Moor. Two Sparrowhawks, three Kestrels and one or two Common Buzzards. 1100 Fieldfares, five Mistle Thrushes, five Redwing and 250 Starlings.
