Royd Moor Reservoir - 6 Mallards, 2 drake Tufted Ducks, a pair of Grey Partridge, a pair of Little Grebe, a pair of Great Crested Grebe, 6 Moorhens, a pair of Coot and 1 Tree Pipit.
Carrying on from yesterday, the following warblers and buntings were holding breeding territories:- Blackcap (6), Garden Warbler (3), Common Whitethroat (10), Lesser Whitethroat (2), Chiffchaff (2), Willow Warbler (34+), Yellowhammer (4) and Reed Bunting (6). Again an increase in both Common Whitethroat and Reed Buntings; but fewer Blackcaps and Gardens Warblers than previous years.
The following were also noted to be breeding:- Wood Pigeon, Carrion Crow (two pairs), Magpie (one pair), Great Tit, Blue Tit, Robin, Blackbird (6),Wren, Dunnock, Chaffinch and Goldfinch.
