Just one Short Eared Owl yesterday at 10am and some fresh pellets at the usual posts.
The area to the north is at the highest flood level I've ever seen, I call this area Monckton Flash. I was in the field adjacent taking pictures of the flood when I heard the unmistakable whistle of a Wigeon, this is a new species for the site! (Mick Birkinshaw)
