Old Moor

A very wet but excellent few hours birding at Old Moor late aft / early eve.: Black-necked Grebe 1 on Mere (from Broomhill), Cormorant 11, Little Egret 3, Wigeon 3, Garganey 3 (2 juvs), LRP 2, Dunlin 2, Greenshank 8, Spotted Redshank 2 (ad, juv), Green Sand 12, Common Sand 2, Wood Sand 1 juv, Common Tern 3. Also seen today: Marsh Harrier 1 'cc', Arctic Tern 1 juv.
