Brief  visit a.m. cawthorne lane produced hobby, sprawk, buzzard, 2 kestrels, 3 r.l. partridge, little owl. Ewden, an hour at the shooting lodge was very quiet apart from 3 ravens showing well. On the way back a red kite showing well just w. of naylors factory at cawthorne, over dixon wood, north lane, opposite upper house.
