Siskin 1 (first of the autumn) Green Woodpecker 1, Mute Swan 2, Little Grebes swapped over nest duty revealing 1 egg. 2 Little Owls were perched out in the open at Lidster's yard and our second Sparrowhawk nest still has 3 large, healthy young.
No ringing today, the ringing rides are still under water and very overgrown.
At Storrs Mill Wood this afternoon-Nuthatch calling, a dead grass Snake (Road casualty) several Ringlets, 2 Comma's and a Red Admiral.
