Graham, remember the Blackcap I told you about in a bramble on the railway near Srorrs Mill Wood. I checked it today with bins so as not to disturb her, but no sitting bird because the eggs had gone! The site didn't look disturbed by people and the nest was as it was. It looks to me like a stoat/Weasel is operating down there, then again it could be a Jay/Magpie? Gutted I was hoping to ring them.
